Custom Field / Shortcode Widget

Custom Fields are part of the secret WordPress sauce that transforms it from just another blogging solution into the web’s leading content management platform.

We’d recommend you use a plugin like the awesome Advanced Custom Fields if you plan on adding custom fields, but regardless of how you populate your custom fields you can use the Custom Field widget to display them in your site.

Just add the widget to any widget area you’d like to include your custom content and add in the field name.

Bonus feature!

In addition to showing custom fields, the Custom Field / Shortcode widget can execute any shortcode and show the result in one of the Carbon widget areas. Perfect for any plugins that have a shortcode but no widget!
